After completing her academic training at the Sciences Po Paris Law School and Harvard Law School, Roxane Best was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2018.
She studied and worked abroad for several years (Mexico, China, United States) before practicing in litigation and corporate criminal law at leading law firms in Paris (Hogan Lovells and Clifford Chance). She founded her own firm in 2021 and later partnered to establish BHR Avocats in 2024.
In 2023, Roxane Best was elected Secrétaire de la Conférence of Lawyers of the Paris Bar, a two-century-old institution that annually brings together twelve lawyers elected by their peers to handle criminal and financial cases of particular sensitivity.
Roxane Best practices criminal litigation, representing both defendants and victims, particularly in matters involving the compensation of bodily harm.
She has developed specific expertise in international and European criminal law (European Arrest Warrant, Interpol Red Notice, extradition, etc.) as well as in criminal tax and business law (fraud, misuse of corporate assets, money laundering, embezzlement, corruption, influence peddling, and tax evasion).
She also practices juvenile law (juvenile criminal law and child protection cases).
Finally, as part of her commitment to fundamental freedoms, Roxane Best has developed expertise in defending activists and advocates. She regularly represents citizens involved in the fight against climate inaction as well as political opponents before criminal courts.
She works in French, English, Spanish, and Chinese, and advocates for her clients' interests throughout the entire national territory.
